“We can always begin again. No matter what happens, no matter how long it's been, no matter how far from our aspirations we may have strayed, we can always always begin again.” Sharon Salzberg
I first heard “BEGIN AGAIN” from Sharon years ago at a Dharma Talk at Upaya Zen Center. That night she spoke of it with regards to mediation. If you get distracted or the thoughts take over you can always begin again. I love that! No beating yourself up, no feelings that you’ve failed, just begin again. I loved it, even more, when I realized it could be applied to so many things in life. In times of frustration, you can just take a deep breath and BEGIN AGAIN. On a long run of busy days, you can begin again every day. Especially when the chapters of life end you can always BEGIN AGAIN.
