All of my pieces are handmade and one-of-a-kind. They are rustically elegant. Many of the tins I use are antique and show signs of wear and tear. In my opinion, it just adds to the beauty of the piece, which has had a history. The tin flower is approximately 1" in diameter and is hung on a 20 inch, 1.8mm sterling silver bead chain. On the back is stamped the word "BLOOM". I have always loved the quote "Bloom where you are planted" by Mary Engelbreit. I hope you love it too!
Because of my love of tin I get gifts of tin boxes from the lovely people in my life. I loved this tin because it reminds me of the many blue & white China pieces that many of my loved ones collected. There are many different patterns, Blue Willow, Blue Italian and Royal Copenhagen are a few. I’m not exactly sure what it is about having many similar pieces together that makes them look so good. I guess that is why people have collections. It makes a statement.
Tins and collecting them bring back happy memories. I love using tin boxes in my work, giving them a new life in a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece that hopefully you will love and enjoy wearing for many years to come.
All of my pendants come wrapped in little box. If you are buying them as a gift for someone I can ship to them and add a gift card. Thank you for looking! I am also happy to take requests for different color combinations so feel free to contact me.
