Faceted Laboradorite Heart Pendant

This one-of-a-kind pendant is part of the FINDING JOY Collection. In this collection, I chose bright colorful stones because I was reminded that color can dramatically affect your mood. I tried to pick stones of "happy colors". Wassily Kandinsky (one of my favorite abstract expressionists) once said that "Color is a power that directly influences the soul." With this collection in mind, I chose colors that have the ability to inspire JOY! 

This faceted Labradorite heart pendant is set in an oxidized sterling silver bezel and the bezel is wrapped in oxidized sterling silver bead wire. At the top of the heart is a 14 ky gold accent bead. The pendant hangs on an oxidized sterling silver chain with a little 14 ky gold heart link. The "flash" in this Labradorite is gorgeous, with shades of black, blue, purple, and grey depending on the way the light hits it. A photo hardly does it justice.
