Reclaimed Slag + Sterling Silver Talisman Pendant

This pendant and chain are oxidized sterling silver. The chain is 31 inches. The pendant measures 1.75 inches long and 1.5 inches wide and is backed with reclaimed Edgewood tobacco tin.

I think of this piece a reminder for RECLAMATION and HONOR of your anomalies i.e. your uniquenesses. In the most positive sense.

I chose this material because it is reclaimed and each piece is OOAK (one-of-a-kind). It is formed when raw ore is smelted to extract the desired iron ore.  This particular piece is extra craggy and rough (more anomalies/uniquenesses) making it especially cool and beautiful. On the back is a bit of reclaimed Edgeworth Tobacco Tin, a treat only for you.
