All of my pieces are handmade and one-of-a-kind. They are rustically elegant. Many of the tins I use are antique and show signs of wear and tear. In my opinion, it just. adds to the beauty of the piece, which has had a history. The tin flowers are approximately 1" in diameter and is hung on a 20 inch, 1.8mm sterling silver bead chain. On the back is stamped the word "BLOOM". I have always loved the quote "Bloom where you are planted" by Mary Engelbreit. I hope you love it too!
These flower earrings are made from a tin that has memories that are near and dear to my heart. They are made from a Coleman’s Mustard tin (restaurant size). My Dad loves Coleman’s Mustard. One of my fondest memories is of him mixing up a batch on Christmas morning (just the powder with a little water) to have on a biscuit with Smithfield ham. He loves Smithfield ham. I cherish these memories and look forward to being with my family on Christmas and Dad mixing us up a batch of mustard.
Tins and collecting them bring back sweet memories of my childhood. I love using tin boxes in my work, giving them a new life in a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece that hopefully you will love and enjoy wearing for many years to come.
All of my pendants come wrapped in little box. If you are buying them as a gift for someone I can ship to them and add a gift card. Thank you for looking! I am also happy to take requests for different color combinations so feel free to contact me.
