These two Mother of Pearl Trading Coin pieces are set in Sterling Silver with a linen texture on the back and hang on Sterling Silver ear wires. They measure 2.5 inches long and 5/8" wide.
These particular pieces are antique gaming counters, poker chips, or trading coins. They were produced during the Regency Era in Great Britain from 1795 to 1837.
Mother of Pearl is a shell. It comes from the inside of mollusk shells.
These Earrings are part of the Collection of CALM. A collection inspired by my growing up on the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. The Mother of Pearl represents the white sand beaches there and the memories of the many hours I spent collecting shells. On the back of the pendant is a linen texture. The best and coolest fabric to wear at the beach!
It is my wish that when worn, these earrings will remind you of all things beachy - shells, sand, breeze, waves, walks, and most of all CALM.
