Sailboat Dictionary Image Earrings - Oxidized Sterling Silver & Red Brass

The earrings are 1.25" around and hang down just under 2". The sailboats are covered with mica, framed with oxidized sterling silver and riveted together with hand made red brass rivets. 

The sailboat images came from an antique dictionary, one exactly like the one Dad had that we would use when he was helping me with my homework. He would never tell me how to spell a word. He told me to look it up in the dictionary. That was one of Dad's great learning lessons. I did as he recommended however I was far more interested in the black and white images through out the book. This pair of earrings honors the Father Daughter connection.
