Symmetrical Mother of Pearl Earrings

These two matching Mother of Pearl Trading Coin pieces are set in Sterling Silver with a linen texture on the back and hang on Sterling Silver ear wires. They are 2.5 inches long. 

These particular pieces are called gaming counters, poker chips, or trading coins. They were produced between 1700 and 1840. Mother of Pearl is a shell. It comes from the inside of mollusk shells.

It is my wish that when worn these earrings will remind you of all things beachy - shells, sand, breeze, waves, walks, and most of all CALM.
